International Friendly Betting - 4th June

England (4/11) v Switzerland (8)

England are very much still rebuilding and have yet to reach the heights that many want to see, but they’re strolling through their qualifying and can prove far too good for Switzerland, who were well beaten the last time they faced England and whose only win in their last 6 is against Wales.

Advice: 2 pts England/England double result (evs Paddy Power)

FYR Macedonia (11/4) v Ireland (23/20)

Ireland were the beneficiary of some very bad goalkeeping when they were 2-1 winners in Dublin and it’s likely that things will be far closer between the two this time round. That makes the draw & Macedonia really tempting, but seven of Macedonia's eight games this season have featured under 2.5 goals and that makes that bet unmissable.

Advice: 3.5 pts Under 2.5 goals (8/13 Paddy Power)

Portugal (4/11) v Norway (9/1)

Portugal will miss key defender Ricardo Carvalho but they probably won’t need him and Paulo Bento's side can pull level with leaders Norway in Group H on Saturday night by exerting revenge for their previous defeat in Oslo.

Advice: 3 pts Portugal/Portugal double result (evs Paddy Power)

Latvia (11/4) v Israel (5/4)

Israel have a few injuries and are still yet to win a game away from home in Euro 2012 qualifying but will feel this is their best chance yet to pick up three points on the road yet at struggling Latvia, and maybe worth a chance even at short odds.

Advice: 1 pt Israel (5/4 Stan James)

Montenegro (11/10) v Buglaria (23/10)

Montenegro are the team giving England most to think about in this group and will be tough to beat at home to Bulgaria but they seem to lack firepower (scored only 3 goals in qualifying) and may well be given a tough time of things by Bulgaria, who can call on a fresh squad.

Advice: 2 pts draw (23/10 Bet365)

Iceland (9/2) v Denmark (5/6)

No prizes for guessing the favourite in this but Denmark might have a surprise in store tonight. Iceland’s home form is markedly better than their away form and that points to a closer tie than the 2-1 reverse that the Icelanders suffered previously.

Advice: 1 pt draw (14/5 Bwin)
