I hope you’ve been following us over the last few days as we’ve
been in a nice run of form which could easily continue while England dominate in
the cricket (advised as a 4pt bet at 7-5, but now are no better than 4/6 for an
Innings win) .
We’ve not had that much racing on, despite the fairly
profitable time of it that some trainers and jockeys are having – A new policy of
being selective seems to be working well so far – but there’s one runner who
deserves support tonight.
Sir Michael Stoute had a lamentable start to the season but
his fortunes have picked up of late and he now seems to hold quite a team of juvenile
talent, his two runners at Newbury being further evidence of that. His Tuscania
hasn’t had the best of luck since her impressive debut win on the AW last
October but his a price because of it today and should be as big as 11/2.
She made a promising reappearance here in a handicap at
least as good when fourth (caught out wide) on her seasonal debut, having made
good late headway. This set her up nicely for her next start when at Goodwood
but her chance was ruined as soon as she was drawn in 14 out of 14 and despite
Ryan Moore’s early efforts, she couldn’t do any better than eighth. If that wasn’t
enough, the stable seemed to have suggested that she ran “flat” which means
better will come tonight and at 11/2, she’s worth “chancing” to land the last
at Newmarket.
Advice
2 pts win Tuscania, 8.10 Newmarket (11/2 Coral)
