Championship - Blackpool v Peterborough

All eyes will be on the title chase that begins today but the best bet on offer today may invariably be in the Championship when Blackpool take on fellow goal grabbers Peterbrough and the value may well lie with the hosts.

Blackpool kicked off the Championship nine days ago with a 1-0 win at Hull City, with Gary Taylor-Fletcher scoring a late but brilliant winner. Some could argue that poor finishing and luck played a part but Blackpool were always a threat in that game and a clean sheet will do wonders for confidence.

A reserve side were dumped out of the Carling Cup in un ceremonious fashion but even then they dominated for large parts of the game and the whole team is changed today with Matt Gilks, Ian Evert, Craig Cathcart, Keith Southern, Kevin Phillips, and Gary Taylor Fletcher all coming back.

Darren Ferguson brings his newly-promoted side to Bloomfield Road looking to build on a solid 2-1 home win against Crystal Palace last week but this is a far tougher task on the road against a team that scored in 18 of 19 Premier League matches at home last season and the points can go to Blackpool.

Advice

3 pts Blackpool (21/20 VC Bet)
