2 pts Gorgeous Sixty, 1.05 Gorwan Park
The Ricci’s are in a fine run of form at the moment and look
to have a promising recruit on their hands in the shape of Gorgeous Sixty, who
can hopefully do better than Sarabad and Darroun have done in three attempts
over hurtles.
A useful filly on the level in France, she won twice on both
good and heavy ground in France on the flat before being given her debut in
Listed company over hurdles. Just edged out that day, she bolted up – admittedly
in a fairly weak race – by 10 lengths on the bridle, indicating that she was
useful at the least.
With the consistent One Cool Shabra and Burrenbridge Lodge
in opposition, this will be a fairly tough task for her on her Irish debut, not
to mention the improvement expected from Arnaud and In Bloom from very
promising hurdling debuts. However this will only mean a good price about our
pick and there seems no harm in giving her a chance on her Irish debut.
