Menorah: High class over hurdles (Supreme Novice, Greatwood,
and International Hurdle winner) who’s taken his time with fences, unseating
over fences on debut before making several blunders in two facile wins in
novice events; This seems a good opportunity in theory but has to give away
significant amount of weight and error free round the call today. 
Kumbeshwar: Four runs over fences and two wins, both by a
decent amount; Easily beaten by Menorah last time although it’s worth noting
that today he’s 5lbs better off, which gives him a chance in theory; More
needed but shouldn’t be too far away. 
Kid Cassidy: Massive promise on hurdling debut when winning
by 15 lengths and while beaten easily next time (winner gone onto better
things), he bounced back to win impressively at Punchestown Festival; Set to
win when falling at Lingfield on his chasing debut and put that right with easy
win at Ludlow latest; Gets 7lbs from Menorah here to make things very
interesting.
VERDICT: This is a tough task for MENORAH. Not only is he
now competitively weighted with Kumbeshwar based on his beating last time, he’s
also got to give 7lbs to the promising Kid Cassidy, which makes life very
interesting for Richard Hobbs’s charge. At his best he’ll have enough to win
although it may be worst just a small bet that he does so.
