6.50 - A cracking little contest due to the presence of John Smith’s Cup winner Wigamore Hall and Classic Trial winner Chabal. With no obvious front runner, this could develop into a tactical affair which wouldn’t suit Wigamore Hall and in any case, CHABAL (win) looked a good prospect when first past the post at Sandown in April and he may be best forgiven a lacklustre effort in the Dante (form has worked out well in any case).
Brighton
2.30 - LADY OF GARMORAN (win) was short-headed off 2lb higher at Bath last Friday and should take plenty of pegging back if she can last out this extra two furlongs. It’s worth taking the chance on her staying.
Lingfield
2.40 - If CHILWORTH LASS (win) can settle in the stalls and take to AW, then she looks to have the strongest chance at the weights.
