Racing Today - 11th August

3 fillies today.

Yarmouth

2.20 - Very little previous form to go at here, so it’s best left to the debutants. John Gosden holds a strong hand with Maid To Dream and Zoffany’s half sister QUEEN OF MEAN (win). The selection is a Pivotal half-sister to this year´s high class juvenile Zoffany and that wins her the vote over Maany, a finished last of 12 on debut but is bred to make a three-year-old and may be a better proposition after her year-long absence.

Sailsbury

4.05 - ALSACE LORRAINE'S (win) style of running makes her vulnerable if they don't go a decent clip up front, and she did disappoint last time, but she holds a form edge, finishes off strongly over 1 mile and has the right man on top in Kieren Fallon to land this.

Gowran Park

5.45 – CAT FIRE (win) made a big impression when striking first time up at Fairyhouse in June and was possibly turned out a little too soon when bidding to follow up in Group 3 company at Naas just five days later. Suntan has good credentials but has a tough task at the weights.
