Gaily Game: taking
another step up in class after landing a Listed contest at Deauville with ease
from Miss Lago (reopposes, and form is solid); Should take the beating here
although this is tougher contest.
Shankardeh: Made a deep impression when winning first two
starts but first show of real talent when unlucky third in Prix Du Malleret,
when her rider was one of many to gift an easy lead to a previously impressive
winner, who has since finished second in the Prix Vermille; Good effort since
when running into subsequent Group 2 winner Meezenah, another step up in trip
should help and big chance here. 
Bernieres: Sprung a surprise at Saint Cloud when outstaying
decent field close home that included Cill Rialaig, having previously been outclassed in two decent 12 furlong
contests; Notable that all of her wins have soft in going description.
Miss Lago: Ran Pacifique close (despite never threatening
seriously) after getting well beaten by Gaily Game on previous outing; Looks
held by both here despite possibility of easy lead. 
Pacifique: 2lbs
better off for what was a cosy neck win in the Prix Du Lutece with Miss Lago,
her third win in 4 starts; Holds a big chance here on that, although no wins on
anything other than soft ground; Should be taken with pinch of salt but
worrying stat nonetheless.
VERDICT: A little cracker to open Arc weekend. Gaily Game
and Pacifique have been rapidly progressive of late but it would be foolish to
ignore SHARKANDEH, who holds some very strong form and should like an extra
furlong here; She also goes on fast ground.
