Yarmouth
On to Yarmouth now, but it's not a track I've done paticuarly well at.

A typically trappy 3 year old handicap and RULE OF NATURE is the lowest weighted of all the ones that have shown promise and are unexposed. She could be the best of them (ranks joint highest in my view along with the top-weight Al Farhidi). It's interesting how she's better off with Subtfuge as well.
Pick: Rule Of Nature

I'm not one for non 3yo handicaps but the excellent form of the Fahey yard has swung me towards SIR LOUIS, who could be well in tomorrow/today. Knightfire has been hammered for his win last time and carries a big topweight.
Pick:Sir Louis

One of the toughest races all day. Out of the top 2, I like FAIR PASSION more because she's only had 4 runs, will have the rail and also Silver Linnet is 6lbs worse off with Leyleyf from last time, so I can't be confident about her reversing form. Yirituni was really game all of last season but would like some quicker ground and was well behind Monsieur Joe in the Cornwallis Stakes. He ran a perfectly respectable 9th and wouldn't be totally out of it, despite topweight. The Strig was impressive in the way he dominated from a next time out winner but that horse got thrashed in a handicap and one feels he benefited from the next 2 being quite awkward under pressure and he might not have the lead all the way this time.
Picks: Fair Passion (win), Monsieur Joe (e/w)
VERDICT: A tricky card but I like the chances of SIR LOUIS and RULE OF NATURE a lot for a track I don't do so well at.
