Ulster (1/20) v
Montpellier (16)
Ulster are within touching distance of a home quarter final
and have an outstanding chance of putting a foot in the quarter finals with a
big success over Montpellier at Ravenhill. Things haven’t clicked for Galthie’s
side this year, with an extremely disappointing 25-8 to tonight’s hosts the
nadir of their season. The visitors’s away record is rocky in any case but
they’ve taken a total second string and this should be how far for Ulster. With
a trip to Welford Road to come, that is a must and well within their range
here, with the second half handicap appealing given how Ulster have outscored
their opposition after the break in their last three games in this pool.
Advice: 3 pts Ulster -9 on 2nd half handicap
(10/11)
Racing (2/7) v
Scalrets (4)
Racing Metro’s season has been a calamity upto this point
and with their Heineken Cup hopes well and truly over following a hammering at
the hands of Harlequins it’s not east to get enthused about them giving up a
big start. They had no ideas when going down 6-0 to Onyaax or when made to look
thoroughly average in December and this is a game that looks best left.
Advice: No bet.
