They say that form is temporary and
class is permanent and that could well be the case with Godolphin’s Delegator,
who has an excellent record fresh (his seasonal debuts read 2111), and if able
to show his best from stall 13 then he has to be worth backing given his group
form.
On his debut last season, he was
sent off 5/1 favourite for a competitive renewal of the Duke Of York Stakes and
all but turned that into a procession, before being very unlucky not to go
closer in the July Cup, suffering trouble in running. He disappointed on his
next two starts but this is a suitable task and he can beat Rerouted and Captain
Obvious .
