Cheltenham Today - 10th December

12.10 (Novices Chase, 2m5f) - Fall last time has dented my confidence on SPIRIT RIVER but he was always in control until falling & looks the class act here. Reve De Sivola was lucky last year being a novice that had unfair experience advantage, and Rebel De Marquis will be stopped by having to give away 8lbs. Whishfull Thinking would be my main danger, despite presnece of Radium over a trip he will like.

12.40 (Handicap Hurdle) - If forced to have a bet it would be each/way on AATHER, as Monetary Fund is too short for my liking. The 2 pie charges (Shoegazer and Hunterview) are threats but latter mentioned has flopped twice in this sort of race.  Praxitiles should also go well held up off nice mark.

1.15 (Am Rider - Handicap Chase
) Could never touch this in Million years. WOLF MOON each/way if he learns to jump and even then it's hard off that weight.

1.50 (Handicap Hurdle) - Tricky one this. The first thing I thought when I saw the card was WHAT'S LUSH LIFE doing here??? In the end came to the top 2. CROSS KENNON (each/way) isn't weighted to be turned over by any of the ones he beat here last time out while ACKERTAC will get a lot closer than he did, so small each/way stakes the pair.

2.25 (3M Handicap Chase) - I'll be recording this just to see Midnight Chase go for it again. Think this might be too much for him off this mark though. I just cannot leave NEPTUNE COLLONGES alone off his current mark add have had each/way at 11's. I hope the race cuts up for him midway through as he's easily good enough and Nicholls will have had him ready to run a big one in the Hennessy, while this is much easier.

I have numerous respect for others including Fassel and Any Currency but RARE BOB would be my main danger.

3.00 (X Country Chase) - The banker of the day for me runs here in the shape of SIZING AUSTRALIA and he must go close off 15lbs better terms than last time with Garde Champetre having only been beaten 4 lengths. 5/1 is a great price.  Arbaella Boy is truly fascinating and has the class form to go with the chase runs (albelit only 5) and makes for a fascinating contender.
Garde Champetre is always the one to beat but can be opposed off poor weight terms while Maljimar might need the run (fell really early on in Becher Chase) and Gullible Gordon should go well in his current form.

3.35 (Novice's Hurdle)- Anything better than 10/11 on AL FEROF, who beat everything else that Cue Card did in the Champion Bumper with ease, should not be passed up.

4 pts win Sizing Australia

12.10 Cheltenham
2 pts win Spirit River

3.35 Cheltenham
